Lake NozomiNature

A lake created by an eruption of Mt. Madarao. Embankments have been built up for more than 200 years, and it serves as an important source of irrigation water in Iiyama. It was also painted by famous artist Kaii Higashiyama, famous for his Nagano landscapes.
