Currently, there is a lot of remaining snow in some sections of the Shin-etsu Trail, posing various hazards such as slips, snow trampling, tree rising, fallen trees, route loss, and so on.

The Shin-etsu Trail Club will begin inspecting the route in sections from mid-May onward, depending on how the snow melts, after which intensive maintenance of the trail will take place.

If you wish to enter the Shin-etsu Trail during this period, please make sure you have sufficient equipment and experience, plan accordingly, understand the risks involved, and enter the mountain at your own risk.

Please understand that an accident may cause inconvenience to many people, and please refrain from unreasonable entry to the mountain.
