Get your tag, and wear it on the Trail!
We ask that every person hiking the Shin-etsu Trail pay a supporting fee of ¥1,000 (and increased donations are always welcome!).
Everyone who does provide this important support will receive an original Shin-etsu Trail tag as a symbol of your support. The tag design and colors change every year.
The Shin-etsu Trail Club will use these funds provided by hikers to purchase materials such as signs and signposts, fuel and cutting blades for weed cutters, and to raise awareness of environmental conservation and trail maintenance.
The Shin-etsu Trail was created not just by local people and organizations, but also by the people who hike it. Even if you can’t join in the activities to maintain the Trail, you can help by your support through the maintenance cooperative fee.
