Niigata Prefecture Myōhō PasturelandHistory and culture

A cattle-raising operation managed by Niigata Prefecture. Calves from dairy farms around the prefecture are brought here for rearing then later returned to the farms. The fluvial terraces at the base of Mt. Naeba are an excellent environment for raising cattle.
